  • Pansori

Pansori is a Korean opera style performed by one singer and one musician. The performer acts out all of the parts.

These pictures were taken at a demonstration of traditional Korean musical styles conducted every Thursday during the summer in the Secret Garden at Changdeok Palace in Seoul.

  • I see I have missed a lot of your entries.  I have had company and been company for 6 weeks during July and August.  It took a lot out of me but I'm still kicking.  Your photos are truly beautiful, taking my breath away with the vivid colors.  What an amazing country for you to have been able to discover so much of.  Your description reminds me of a movie I love here but not nearly as dramatic or then maybe it is.  "Give Em Hell Harry" about Harry Truman is a favorite of mine which I would love to be able to buy the original I saw.  Anyway, the single actor playing Harry Truman is the whole show.  It's terrific.  Anyway, I think there is a slight equasion in what I just wrote.  Keep on trucking kiddo.  Becca
