I've been experimenting with my camera settings. It's been a blast. Here are some results I've had recently.

Greenup Ave. 5:45 a.m. Time laspe exposure of about two to three seconds. I leaned the camera against a light post to help keep camera shake to a minimum. The golden light streaks were caused by a passing truck.

Ohiomist - Very early morning in September, with the sun deep behind the horizon. It was slightly misty this day, but you can see the first blush of the day behind the Ohio hills.

Carter Ave Westbound - Taken while I was crossing the street.

Dark Alley - See you there. hehehehe... Yes, it will look better in a dark room. Turn your lights out and you will see it better.

nice photos!
Great images!!
you are right. Noone does take you serious if you have your tongue pirced.
I told you not to take a photo of the place we hid the body..................
ah the second one's my fave. i really miss having a camera.
I like the picture of the alley, very eerie. Jim, would you please send me your email address (only if you want to, of course)? I used to have it, but my computer crashed and I lost it. Thanks.
Most of my night photos taken while moving have not turned out much I have been pleased with. I am turning out better night photos with some settings changes. I think most of it is in the settings and I need to read more about what my camera is capable of. A better camera would help as well but that may or may not happen. I really like the dark alley.
I think the self portrait is good. I have been playing a bit with that for myself, as well. Not always easy to give that camera our best side even if we are the one doing the shooting.
Oooohhh! Love the latest pics!
RYQ: Budget? What budget? We have $11 to stretch til next Friday. So, those Walmart printers might as well be $500. Someone is sending me one that has been sitting unused and not needed, so God provides one way or another. Until then, my guy will print what's needed at work.

The alley picture! Oh, you are the best!
Jim, that is a fabulous idea. I never really thought about it much, but photography sounds like it would prove to be interesting. There are many scenic places here in Lexington, as well as some architecture that would photo-up quite nicely.
I don't know if I can come up with 50$, but if I do, I will definitely take up your offer. Thanks a bunch.
Ps; The pictures up there are nice as well. My favorite is 'Dark Alley'.
Creativity is a blast...looks cool...I'll tune in again.
Love the pictures! I also enjoy playing around with the camera......very nice self portrait.....'til the next
Nice pictures, but I think I see a booger in the last one. Hehe, just kidding.
