@Celestial_Teapot - Hitler abolished all religions in Germany, then established his own religion to the Aryan race prior to WWII starting in 1939. I am sure that the symbols on this gate do not have any connection with the National Socialist Party of Germany and the Hitler regime. Few people know that before the Nazi Party adopted the swastika, it was a symbol used in a number of different cultures. I think it is Sanskrit in origin. Beyond that, on maps I have used in Asia, the swastika is used to identify Buddhist temples.
